The Problem With Political Philosophers.

A conservative political philosopher (or expert) is highly educated in the political sciences, his advice is highly respected on the Washington belt-way.

A liberal political philosopher (or expert) is also highly educated in the political sciences, his advice is equally respected on the Washington belt-way.

But despite both of their years of higher education these two individuals espouse completely opposite expert political philosophies. If there were such a thing as an expert opinion in politics, then all experts would think the same way.

This indicates to me that regardless of ether of their education in political science, they are still operating on their own personal opinions. And I don’t need to hear their opinions.
Opinions are something I can generate on my own * , and I'll base them on my own common sense and my the concept of right and wrong that my parents were so persistent to drill into me.

Surprisingly, that is exactly what the founding fathers had always expected us to use whenever we go into a voting booth. And they realized that more than two hundred years ago.

* what scholar of ancient times stated that "opinions are like ass-holes, everybody’s got one"?
(excuse my French.)
