Relax. Liberals, moderates, and many conservatives
also, have no doubt, (after reading The Rock Report,)
judged me to be some sort of embittered militia member. Lighten up, you'll find no Montana travel brochures on my
coffee table. I don't have any camouflaged pants, And I
own only three guns; a Ruger 22, a Winchester 12 gage
pump and a General Electric Phalanx, (got it at K-mart)
and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with any of
them . I hold ill will toward nobody, with the possible exception of murderers, thieves, rapist, and the like. I believe what I have written, that this country has been really screwed up by the socialist philosophy of the past forty years, but I don't lose sleep over it, and I do pay my taxes (more or less on time). I have also given up on what I call "modern wisdom's"; political, social, and financial. Hence I have tried to adopt rather more trust worthy, "ancient wisdom's" like the parable of the ant and the grasshopper, and "Neither a borrower nor a lender be." etc. etc. So, except for some rather old fashion views on life, the universe, and almost everything, I'm really just an average guy, and not, in fact, a dictatorial madman bent on world domination. Although,... it is something to think about. P. S. If you assume me to be
less than compassionate for the less fortunate. how about you? Before you say it, (about my writing), I know I shouldn't quit my day job. If your not into politics, then try the "Mostly Less Serious Stuff" button. On A Personal Note:
This movie has a very sad ending however. These giant ants, honest, hardworking, only slightly aggressive and moderately carnivorous, are all killed when a bunch of liberal media personalities along with hundreds of walk-on extras, some with actual speaking parts, (I mean, in the movie.) Anyway, all these people, while in a fast food induced delirium, track down and destroy the noble, peace-loving ants who had done nothing more serious than eat the entire city of Burbank. (like any of us are likely to miss it.) Oh the humanity! ( make that "hum-ant-itty" ) |
